Jordan Lynch

Founder

Jordan Lynch is a lifelong resident of Madison County, Virginia, with deep roots in the local community. During his school years, he was an active athlete, participating in football, hockey, soccer, and horseback riding. He also earned the rank of Eagle Scout through Boy Scout Troop 116—an early reflection of his commitment, discipline, and work ethic.

Jordan has always had a strong appreciation for hands-on work and continuous learning. Over the years, he has pursued multiple professional paths, earning licenses in health insurance, life insurance, and annuities, while also working toward his real estate license.

Ironically, Jordan’s path into the world of internet and technology began with frustration. After years of unreliable service and repeated disappointments, he had accepted that high-quality internet simply wasn’t possible at his home—located at the end of a rural gravel road.

That changed when his neighbor, Caleb Keily, introduced a solution.

Skeptical at first, Jordan challenged Caleb to prove it. When Caleb delivered not just improvement, but a complete transformation in performance, it changed Jordan’s perspective entirely.

That moment sparked something bigger—what started as a personal solution quickly became a shared mission. Together, they recognized an opportunity to help others facing the same challenges, leading to the creation of Actual Internet LLC.

Caleb Keily

Co-Founder

Caleb Keily has called Madison County home since 1994, developing a deep appreciation for rural life from an early age. Growing up on a farm, he experienced firsthand both the rewards of country living and the limitations that often come with it—especially when it came to technology and connectivity.

Caleb’s interest in technology was shaped early on by his father, an electrical engineer who contributed to the IBM team supporting the Apollo 11 mission. Exposure to computers at a young age—often through complex and unconventional methods—sparked a lasting curiosity and technical skillset.

After attending Virginia Tech, Caleb moved to Northern Virginia, where he built a career in technology under the name Tech By Caleb. His work included custom PC builds, small office and home office (SOHO) network setups, data recovery, and a wide range of IT services. During this time, reliable internet was often taken for granted.

That perspective shifted when Caleb returned to Madison County in 2017 and found that local internet infrastructure had barely improved. Determined to change that for his own home, he began years of research, testing, and hands-on problem-solving to bring modern connectivity to his family’s 1950s farm.

Eventually, he succeeded.

After sharing these results with his neighbor and longtime family friend, Jordan Lynch, the two quickly realized that many others in their community were facing the same frustrations—high costs, poor performance, and limited options.

What began as a personal breakthrough became a shared mission: to bring reliable, high-quality internet solutions to rural communities.

The name Actual Internet LLC was born from a common sentiment they heard time and time again—people weren’t just looking for internet, they were looking for something that actually works.
